Life with a 15 year old with Autism is never dull. Despite our challenges, he's nothing less than a delight and a joy.

My Parents Forced Me to Write This Blog
We're starting an adventure in homeschooling/unschooling. As part of a language arts program, we've set our nearly 12 year old son up on his own blog. He chose to name it "My Parents Forced Me To Write This Blog" (http://myparentsforcedme.blogspot.com/). This is his first effort. It was very similar to pulling teeth. Hopefully he'll get better at it with time. Enjoy!

Love the title of your son's blog. I set one up for my aspergers daughter and she did really well to start with but now she's loosing interest. I'm going to have another go at encouraging her though as she was doing so well. Good luck with the homeschooling; this may be something I am forced to do as the education system for autistic kids is rubbish in the UK. Deb
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb! I appreciate your comment. Jack's still struggling with the blog. We may have to change our tactics a little. Or find something he enjoys more. We are loving homeschooling. He's SO much happier at home and the stress level in our house has been greatly reduced. The education system for kids with autism (as well as that for NT kids) is broken. I'm so glad we were able to bring him home. Have a great day!
